Established 2000
Volume 12 , Issue 12 Dec. 2012
Dear Friends,
Since this is my final letter I want to sincerly thank you for your amazing cooperation over
these last four years. My hope is you had fun along with our ususal business plus seeing so many
beautiful quilts and other finished projects.
For me the program with Sue Spargo stands out because it changed the path of my
sewing. I’ve gone from making quilts that points never matched to working with wool. This has
allowed me to be more creative and it is easier on my hands. I like to play with what I am doing
rather than needing to be so precise.
I look back with pleasure and pride in our guild for the beautiful quilts, window treatments
and pillow cases made for Sunny Glenn Children’s home and the numerous baby quilts, and
Baby Bear Blankets completed by the members.
Now it is Christmas time 2012 which means a change of officers. These ladies will need
the same amount of encouragement that you gave me, and I am sure you each will rise to the
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
